Adorable .... made them all back in the 60's, loved them then as now! Simplicity patterns ... though they went out of print as a one piece pattern, but did come back in the 90's under, huuummmm I think it was Butterick patterns though not together in one pattern. In fact the plastic circles we used for the bikini only lasted one season, so we tried a covered stainless steel circle, but those would burn after a while. Later we made them ourselves out of a plastics weaving material. Just a bit of history on your pieces! :blowkiss: I Love design/fashion .... it always seems to remain the same! :giggle: :w00t!:

The cover ups as well as the little loops on the bikini's. :giggle: Mom was a Home Ec teacher who had fashion shows for her students at the end of each semester. The cooking classes served as well as cleaned up for each show, with the sewing students not only making their outfits, but then modeling them, most of the time we were able to get their whole family's involved. It became a big community event with a lot of the small business owners coming to see the new talents. At Mom's memorial many a past student stood up and told their stories about how she led them to a better future. It was a whole other lifetime ago, from 1960's to Mom's passing in 1999. Your drawings brought back memories of my Father's drawings for some of the outfits my Sister and I would then make .... for our friend's, ourselves as well as a variety of dolls we loved to try new things on! :w00t!: Good Memories! I think 55 hit me a bit harder now that they are all gone! :blowkiss: :iconlovepurpleplz: :glomp:
